Dear Alaska Correctional Ministries,

It is with a hopefull heart that I am sending this letter. I have applied for your TLC program. I currently have 4 years flat time to serve and on the 12th of febuary will receive another 3 that for a total of 56 months to serve. I am 27 years old and fairlly intelligent. However I have been in and out of one institution from juvenile hall on up since I was 12. I have nothing to show for my life but scars and tattoos. I was in Palmer and seen yur program first hand a couple of years ago. At this point in my life I m at a loss. I’ve all most given up hope and my heart is broken. My ex-girlfriend is pregnant with my first kid, my famillys all but forgotten me and Im so lost Im having trouble seeing through the dark. I’ve been praying and all my prayers lead me toward the TLC. So with a hopefull heart I send this letter. I truly believe your program could save my life. Because at this point I don’t have one. I know if I keep going like I am I will never serve a higher purpose than to be an OBSCIS number. Please help me change this. I need your program.
